Bok Choy and Mending

It’s hard to believe it’s November already!

Bogdan and I spent the last day and a half at my parent’s house, since my sister came to visit with her children.  It’s sad that while I got a few food pictures, I didn’t really get any good ones of the kids!  I’m sure I will in the days to come, though.

It was fun to have my mom cook for me again :), and I liked trying a new dish of hers – what she called Bok Choy Medley.  My parents have a huge garden every year, and this is one of the newer ways my mom has been using bok choy.  She combined it with peppers and onions, also from the garden.

My mom also gave me an iron-on patch so I could fix a pair of pants for Bogdan. (Mom’s are good like that!)

I’ve been strangely absent the last couple days, but I’m baaaack. 😉

About recipeshappen

I'm Bonnie. I'm a pharmacy technician and new wife to Bogdan. I love cooking, usually without recipes. I love good sales and coupons, but haven't quite figured out the best way to find them. I make the typical new-wife mistakes and have burned my share of cookies. I like a cold house and a hot shower all year long.
