My Husband is Handy!

My husband cut my hair!

And it wasn’t a failure, although it was slightly scary.

I lost about seven inches or so. 🙂 That’s a happy head!

About recipeshappen

I'm Bonnie. I'm a pharmacy technician and new wife to Bogdan. I love cooking, usually without recipes. I love good sales and coupons, but haven't quite figured out the best way to find them. I make the typical new-wife mistakes and have burned my share of cookies. I like a cold house and a hot shower all year long.

It looks great! Not like a “husband haircut” at all. 😉 Being brave pays off!

You most definitely fit into this category. You made me laugh out loud, seriously. 🙂 I am a VERY honest person. Ask my family, I call it how I see it. I feel that credit is given where credit is due and you most definitely deserve it. You just might need a bigger kitchen door 🙂

    • haha!!
Actually, it’s the door out of my bedroom… and funny you should mention it! My husband inflated this humongous exercise ball (seriously, like 75 centimeters tall… WHAT?!) and I tried to take it into the bedroom… well it was a pretty tight fit through that door and I had to manhandle it a little.
It was so bad that when I finally pushed it through it knocked into our bookshelf and sent a picture/picture frame clattering to the floor, and it broke, and we had to vacuum it up.
Now, I will let you use your imagination about WHY we were taking this huge exercise ball into the *bedroom,* but let me tell you, getting a vacuum cleaner out right into the middle of all that was really a mood spoiler.

All this to say: you’re right! I think we do need a bigger door.

Omg I love it! Except for the broken picture frame sorry about that 😦 With you Food Blog and whatever else you got planned in the room could make for a very interesting blog 🙂 he he I hope you turned that mood around 🙂 🙂

    • LOL

We never did quite accomplish what we had planned with that ball; I’m not quite sure what we were thinking! I guess we’ve read too many books – IT’S NOT AS EASY AS IT SOUNDS.

At least you were being adventorous and that’s the fun part 🙂 There is always next time and another idea 🙂 Fifty Shades of Grey perhaps? I haven’t read it but heard it’s juicy 🙂

  8. Suzie says:

I love the hair it’s looks great on you. My hubby cuts my hair too 🙂

  9. Looks adorable. At least you had a lot to work with…and room for corrections if necessary – 🙂

  10. Man your brave! I would be afraid my boyfriend would cut off my ear or something. Your hair looks cute though!

I don’t know why women get so surprised when I tell them my guy cuts my hair. Like your guy he is handy with the shears and does a great job. No driving to/from, waiting in the salon, getting a haircut I didn’t want and paying too much. He doesn’t get scissor happy, keeps my hair looking great and the price is right. Ladies be thankful if your your guy will cut your hair for you. Some men feel insecure or that it is somehow not manly. Save time, money and heartaches from bad haircuts. 🙂
