Since almost everything I’ve posted in the past few days contains crab and cream cheese, I’ll be lucky if I don’t gain 100 pounds. I’ll keep you posted. 😉
Tonight, I tried some crab dip.
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup “yellow” cheese (Colby, cheddar, or American), shredded
3/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
6 ounces crab or imitation crab, minced/flaked
2 tablespoons onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon Tapatio hot sauce (I’m sure other brands would work!)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon paprika
several grinds of pepper
1. Set oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Mix together all ingredients, and evenly spoon the mixture into a greased 8×8 (or other small) casserole dish.
3. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
