Are Free Samples “Worth It?”

Sometimes it seems like a bother to fill out a free sample form when all you get is a little one-time-use-packet of shampoo or something.  However, some free samples are really good and often also come with coupons!

A few samples I’ve gotten in the mail in the last several days…

If you are not familiar with getting free samples in your mailbox, here are several blogs to help you out:

The Krazy Coupon Lady

I also sometimes post freebie-alerts on my Facebook page.

About recipeshappen

I'm Bonnie. I'm a pharmacy technician and new wife to Bogdan. I love cooking, usually without recipes. I love good sales and coupons, but haven't quite figured out the best way to find them. I make the typical new-wife mistakes and have burned my share of cookies. I like a cold house and a hot shower all year long.

I think you owe me some freebies! 🙂 I haven’t been requesting any lately… I should get back into it! 🙂

In answer to the question posed in the post title.

  3. I usually get free samples at festivals. I like it because it lets you try out different things that you normally wont buy.

The little shampoo packets are nice to take with when you travel.

OK, first I just have to say I LOVE your blog. We seem to have so much in common, and I love that you’re adventurous in the kitchen just like me, and not afraid to substitute ingredients and mix things up.

But then you started talking about coupons, and I was in heaven…that’s one of my favorite things, even though I fell off the wagon a little while back. Back on it though, and decided to add my own little post about couponing to my blog…check it out if you get a chance…

    • So cool!
      I’m glad you’re enjoying my blog!! 🙂
I, too, sometimes fall out of couponing… it can be a lot of work! Argh. Also, some weeks are not as good/worthwhile as others. But good weeks make me want to coupon. 🙂
      I love free samples!!
