I think tomato soup is good with any kind of sandwich. Usually I like it with grilled cheese, but today I tried it with egg salad sandwiches. It was perfect! Here’s how I made my egg salad:
Egg Salad
- Hard boiled eggs
- Miracle Whip
- Mustard (just a little!)
- Dill weed (fresh or dried; I just had dried today)
- Paprika
I don’t have a cool egg chopper or anything, so I just smash the eggs with my fork. I also added a slice of provolone cheese to the sandwich. It was delicious!

Looks tasty! My egg salad, like my mom’s has chopped up gherkin pickles…
I like pickles or relish in mine sometimes too, sometimes I like it plain! Egg salad is good lots of ways!
pickles sound good!
One of my very favorites and now I’m hungry for one. I bet it’s delish with dill!
Yes!
The good news is: egg salad is very easy to make, so maybe you can satisfy your hunger really soon.
I intend to!!
I usually add some avocado to to my egg salad. Its a little different but my family loves it!
Sounds like a nice idea!
At first glance, I curled my nose at the thought of an egg salad sandwich. Then, I realized you are a fellow Miracle Whip person. It can’t be all bad, right? I haven’t tried one in ages. Maybe, my tastes have changed.
Miracle Whip is really a miracle.
I watch for sales on it so it’s affordable and it’s quite yummy.
Your recipe is almost egg-zactly like mine, except I add chopped celery for some crunch. I eat this as a sandwich, OR I stuff it into celery for more crispy texture and a fresh, cool taste. Fewer carbs and calories without the bread.
Good idea!
